In high school, I studied illustration, pattern making and how all the glamour is grounded in industry and production. As part of the program I had a three week work placement where I earned my first job as a bilingual customer service representative for a men’s knitwear manufacturer. A year later, I was accepted to the School of Fashion at Ryerson University. I expanded on my knowledge with courses in graphic design, marketing and the history of art, design and costume, graduating with a Bachelor of Design in Fashion Communications.

I then returned to Winnipeg, where my work with Mondetta, Warehouse One and Pattison would further shape my skills as a design and creative professional.

In 2013, I was hired by Bentley Leathers and moved from Winnipeg to Montreal. A year later I was offered a position in web graphic design with Le Chateau and was quickly promoted to Online Content Manager for their outlet division. I am currently employed as a Senior Graphic Desiger with Dex Clothing.

My experience is unique and diverse. Having worked in manufacturing, retail marketing, outdoor advertising, e-commerce and now wholesale. I know first hand the importance of adhering to production standards and processes, nurturing client and colleague relationships and operating within brand guidelines. In addition to my design skills and technical knowledge, I consider the respect I have for my colleagues and my honed communication skills to be some of my greatest assets.
